The DWD is based on the New Legislative Framework, and whilst CE Marking is not used many rules from this framework continue to be applicable. For that reason it is also very useful to be aware of and read the EU Blue Guide. The Blue Guide is a non-binding guidance document that explains how the EU system of conformity assessment, including the Modules work.
